# SMS

> Two-way text messaging with contacts — logged, templated, and AI-suggested

The SMS page (`/phone/sms`) is your text messaging inbox. Send and receive SMS with any contact through your Winnerr phone number. Every message is automatically logged to the contact's record.

## SMS inbox

The inbox shows all SMS conversations, sorted by most recent. Each thread shows:

* Contact name
* Last message preview
* Time of last message
* Unread badge

Click any thread to open the full conversation.

## Sending a message

### From the SMS page

Click **New Message**, search for a contact, and start typing. Press Enter or click **Send**.

### From a contact's profile

Open any contact and click the **SMS** button in the action bar. This opens an SMS compose window pre-filled with their number.

### From the Power Dialer

During a dialer session, send a quick follow-up SMS immediately after a call with one click.

## Message templates

Save frequently-used messages as templates to send with two clicks. Templates support personalization tokens:

| Token                  | What it inserts         |
| ---------------------- | ----------------------- |
| `{{first_name}}`       | Contact's first name    |
| `{{agent_name}}`       | Your name               |
| `{{property_address}}` | Linked property address |
| `{{showing_time}}`     | Upcoming showing time   |

Access templates from any SMS compose window by clicking the **Templates** icon.

## AI-suggested replies

When you receive a message, Winnie suggests 2–3 contextually relevant replies based on the conversation history. Click a suggestion to pre-fill the compose window, then edit or send as-is.

## Bulk SMS

Send a message to multiple contacts at once from the **People** page. Select contacts, click **Send SMS**, choose a template or write a custom message, and send. Bulk messages are sent as individual threads — each contact receives a personal conversation, not a group chat.

  Bulk SMS is subject to TCPA compliance rules. Make sure you have opt-in consent before sending marketing messages to a contact list.

## Opt-out handling

If a contact replies STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or similar, Winnerr automatically marks them as opted out. They will not receive further bulk messages. Individual replies are still possible.

## SMS history

All sent and received messages across all contacts appear in the **History** tab, with search and date filtering.
