# MCP Integration Settings

The MCP (Model Context Protocol) settings page (`/settings/integrations/mcp`) lets you configure how Winnerr's AI connects to external tools and data sources.

## What is MCP?

MCP is a standard protocol that lets AI assistants use external tools — search the MLS, look up property details, check calendar availability, and more. Winnerr uses MCP to give Winnie (your AI assistant) real-time access to your data and third-party services.

## Configuring MCP

### Registered tools

View all AI tools currently available to Winnie:

| Tool | What it does |
| ------------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| **MLS Search** | Search active listings by criteria |
| **Property Lookup** | Get details on a specific property |
| **Calendar Check** | See your availability |
| **Contact Search** | Look up contacts by name, phone, or email |
| **Market Data** | Pull neighborhood statistics and trends |

### Enabling / disabling tools

Toggle individual tools on or off. Disabling a tool prevents Winnie from using it, even if a user asks.

### API keys

Some external tools require API keys or authentication credentials. Enter them here — they're stored encrypted and never exposed to end users.

## MCP Explorer

For advanced users, the [MCP Explorer](/automation/tools#mcp-explorer) (`/tools-automations/mcp-explorer`) lets you browse registered tools, inspect their schemas, and test tool calls directly.

<Note>
MCP configuration is an advanced feature. Most users won't need to change these settings — the defaults work for standard real estate workflows.
