The Agent Transition page (/agent-transition) manages the clean handoff of contacts and deal history from one agent to another — whether when agents leave the brokerage, territories are rebalanced, or a client requests a change.

Data Review

Before finalizing a transfer you can audit exactly what’s being handed over:

Only organization admins can initiate agent transfers. If you need to transfer contacts but don’t see the option, ask your team admin.

Initiating a transfer

  1. Navigate to Agent Transition in the sidebar (or go to /agent-transition)
  2. Search for the source agent (the agent losing the contacts)
  3. Search for the destination agent (the agent receiving them)
  4. Select the contacts or deals to transfer — or choose Transfer all
  5. Review the data preview and confirm
The destination agent immediately gains access to all transferred records. The source agent’s access is revoked automatically.

Transfer History

The Transfer History tab logs every completed transfer in your organization:
  • Date and time of the transfer
  • Source and destination agents
  • Number of contacts and deals moved
  • Admin who authorized it
  • A full downloadable report of transferred records

Admin Transfers (Admin panel)

Organization admins can also manage agent transitions from the admin panel at /admin/agent-transfers. This view provides bulk operations, filters by date range, and the ability to reverse a transfer within 30 days if a mistake was made.
Before transferring, make sure the destination agent has been properly set up — phone number assigned, email connected, and workflow automations configured — so the new relationship starts seamlessly.
